Implementation science focuses on the systematic uptake of research findings and evidence-based practices into routine practice to improve the quality and effectiveness of education. The presentation will include the following:
Introduction to Implementation Science: Define implementation science and explain its relevance to education. Highlight the benefits of using a structured approach to adopt and sustain evidence-based literacy practices.

Assess the current state of literacy instruction and identify gaps and needs. Engage stakeholders and build a supportive environment for change.

Develop an action plan that includes selecting evidence-based reading practices, securing resources, and training staff.

Highlight the importance of training teachers in both the science of reading and implementation science methodologies. Provide opportunities for continuous professional growth and collaborative learning.
