About me
Michael is passionate about leading schools toward excellence. He is passionate about collaborative leadership through the PLC process and using high quality assessment practices to move students forward in their learning. Michael is also skilled at building and running systems to streamline school processes; whether it is Special Education, RTI, or teacher coaching cycles, he loves to find ways to streamline processes for teachers and focus a school's efforts toward growth.
Before becoming an instructional facilitator, Michael was a mathematics teacher and robotics coach. In recognition of his work in the classroom, Michael received the Milken Educator Award in 2023. He has had the privilege to develop an internationally recognized robotics program and lead mathematics classrooms rich in learning and student discourse and he will always be a middle school teacher at heart.
