About me
Stacey Plumlee was born and raised in Springdale, where she currently works as the Gifted and Talented Director at the Springdale School District. Going on her 24th year in education, she has worked as a third-grade teacher, instructional facilitator, and assistant principal. Educational degrees include a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s of Arts and Teaching Degree, with additional certifications in English as a Second Language, gifted and talented, and building-level administration. She is currently a doctoral student in curriculum and instruction, emphasizing gifted education. For over a decade, Stacey worked intimately in her role as special education designee, 504 designee, and building RTI coordinator to support families, students, and teachers in providing scaffolding and specialized instruction for students who have or are regarded as having a disability. Rooted in the deep understanding of school-wide intervention systems, Stacey is committed to academically growing ALL students through data disaggregation, a rigorous curriculum, and learning opportunities to maximize each child’s potential.
