About me
B.J. Burgess, is starting his 12th year as Director of Technology and Information Systems for the Greenbrier School District and his 24th year in educational technology. He is currently serving as president of TEL-AR (Technology Educational Leaders of Arkansas), which is a professional organization for technology directors and technology decision-makers in K-12. TEL-AR is a state chapter of CoSN (Consortium of School Networks) with a mission to provide multiple growth opportunities for school technology leaders to create and grow engaging learning environments. He is a Certified Educational Technology Leader (CETL), a program that provides a robust framework for school technology leaders and holds cybersecurity certifications including CISSP and CISM. His wife, Misty, teaches business education at Greenbrier High School and they have three children that attend Greenbrier Schools.
